Industrial Roofing
Large industrial roofs bring their own set of demands: long spans, exposed fixings, rooflights that age faster than the surrounding sheet, and access that has to be planned around a working site.
Service
Cladding does two jobs at once — weatherproofing and appearance — and when it starts to fail, both suffer. We install, repair and overclad industrial and commercial buildings across the West Midlands.

Cladding failure is often more visible than roof failure, since it's at eye level rather than overhead. Common issues we see are perished seals at panel joints, corrosion at fixing points, and panels that have worked loose from the rail. Each has a different fix, and a survey tells you which you're actually dealing with.
Overcladding — fixing a new weatherproof and insulated layer over an existing elevation — is often a more cost-effective route than a full strip-out where the substrate is still sound, and we'll say so plainly if that's the better option for a particular building rather than defaulting to the bigger job.

How It Works
Call or send details of the building and the problem you're seeing, and we'll arrange a time to take a look.
We inspect the roof to identify the actual cause of any issue, not just the symptom, and check the overall condition.
You get a written breakdown of what's needed and why, so you can weigh up the options before committing.
Work is planned around your site's operational needs, with the roof left weathertight at the end of each day.
Coverage
We carry out cladding work across Birmingham and the surrounding area — see our full areas covered page for specific locations.

Large industrial roofs bring their own set of demands: long spans, exposed fixings, rooflights that age faster than the surrounding sheet, and access that has to be planned around a working site.

Commercial roofs cover a wider range of buildings than industrial sheds — offices, retail units, converted warehouses, mixed-use premises — and usually a wider range of roof build-ups too.

A large number of the older industrial and commercial roofs across the West Midlands were originally sheeted in asbestos cement, and where that material is degraded or being disturbed by other works, it needs to be dealt with properly rather than worked around.
